Shifting Gears to See Growth

Dr. Chris Boman of Trailhead Family Chiropractic in Murrieta, CA experienced, like most, a drastic drop in patient visits for several weeks at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders. In his state, chiropractic was deemed “essential,” therefore he was allowed to stay open with safety measures in place. With a thoughtful shift in his marketing plan, he was able to remain open and quickly get his practice running full steam ahead.

From Sales Cycle to Nurture Cycle

Dr. Boman’s practice is only two years old, but he set out with a strategic branding and marketing strategy to establish a place in his community. He has carefully studied his new patient acquisition so that he knows which times of year are best for getting new patients and which are best for nurturing his existing patients.

At the onset of the stay-at-home order, he was in the middle of a “sales cycle” marketing to new patients. Realizing that new patient acquisition during a pandemic was unlikely, he shifted his plan and dove into his next “nurture cycle,” engaging with his existing patients to let them know he was open and continuing to share content that they engage with.
