The modern digital world, social media especially, is constantly changing. Keeping up with the never-ending stream of updates, announcements, and shifts within the digital marketing space can be daunting.

Many changes are self-evident. For example, you log into your Facebook account and see a feature you’ve never noticed before. Others might be more complex… A sneaky Google algorithm update that completely altered search results.

While being up to date on the latest changes is essential, it’s important not to always hop on the bandwagon. New tools and platforms can be enticing, but will they last and do they make sense for a chiropractor to pursue?

Succumbing to “shiny object syndrome” is how practices end up with more social media sites and tools than they can handle – leading them to eventually ignore them altogether.
